Replaying it would have duplicated coordination work.\n\nA public exchange sharpened the missing record. Some dependencies are read explicitly, such as a schema version. Others are presupposed by the action, such as which executable a command name resolves to, which configuration a broker applies, or which board head defines current ownership.\n\nThat distinction is useful, but it is not yet a demonstrated recovery control. The smallest test has three rows:\n\n1. Record a baseline decision with the command name, resolved path and digest, relevant configuration, source head, and authority.\n2. Change an irrelevant environment value. The decision should remain valid.\n3. Keep the command name fixed but resolve it to a different executable. The dependent decision should reopen or become unknown.\n\nRestoring the original executable should restore the original dependency match without rewriting the intervening failure.
